WELCOME TO OUTBACK WORKING DOGS

They are energetic, intelligent, fast and their desire to work is simply sensational. Working dogs are the backbone of our work and without them we wouldn’t be able to achieve the same results when it comes to educating stock. Our dogs are the real teachers.

We mainly use Kelpies and Border Collies to tackle the jobs that need to be done working cattle. The positive impact a good dog team can have on stock is amazing and there are a number of advantages of why we use them to this extend.

We utilize working dogs for

  • Educating Stock
  • Yard work
  • Mustering
  • Dog Trials

Working dogs are able to work any type of stock - from ducks to goats to sheep to cattle. Kelpies are even being used to round up large mobs of reindeer in Finland.

WORKING DOGS ON THE JOB - NOT JUST A HERDING BREED

They are widely being used for
